Interkal and KSI recently came together for a massive celebration to congratulate one of our very own. Dan Victor, who has been integral to the company for nearly four decades, was the center of attention as we celebrated both him and the Victory Series rollout. Our Chief Structural Engineer, Dan Victor, has been an invaluable asset to Interkal for over 37 years now, being the go-to person to solve any problem, and putting a hundred percent into everything he does. He’s been integral not only to Interkal, but also the community. Dan has served on the NFPA Technical Committee on Assembly Occupancies from 1990-1998 and has participated significantly in the development of ICC 300 since its beginnings in 2000, also serving on the Committee on Bleacher Safety since 2023. Dan’s passion for this industry is apparent in his continuing dedication to the safety of our products and the communities that enjoy them. So, when it came time to rebrand the classic Interkal bleachers, it was a no-brainer to recognize one of our best and brightest. We’re proud to have the Victory Series named in Dan’s honor, to recognize all his achievements, both past and future. Dan has prioritized safety and quality for all his years at Interkal, ensuring that everything put out meets the highest standards. Not only has he spent decades making sure that Interkal meets the high quality they are known for, but he’s also passed on this knowledge to everyone he’s worked with. The big celebration featured all the goodies, including a massive cake, snacks and beverages, music, and fun for all. No celebration is complete without speeches as well, and not only did we get one from Dan himself, but also Interkal CEO Hal Thomas and Kotobuki CEO Keiko Sutton. We’re so glad we got to celebrate one of our greatest assets and give Dan the thanks and recognition he deserves. Luckily, Dan isn’t going anywhere! We’re looking forward to what the future holds as Dan continues to make Interkal better every day.

There’s nothing quite like a well-designed space for your spectators to enjoy when they attend your event. With the right look, your spectators will be treated to a memorable venue and be excited to come back to your facility. Color is one way to customize your telescopic bleachers and spectator seating for your venue. Using either a single color or multiple, there are plenty of ways to get creative with your space and create something truly special for your spectators.

If you’ve got special guests coming to your event, you’ll want to give them the best experience possible. While there are plenty of ways to elevate a VIP’s time at your facility, seating can be one of the most crucial. They’re sure to remember their visit if they’re given the best seats in the house. How can you do that, though? How can you make sure you’re giving your premium spectators the kind of experience that they’re expecting?

You’re probably not thinking about benches when thinking about the most comfortable seat you’ve ever sat on. And it’s true! Bench seating is not likely to feel as though you’re sitting on a fluffy cloud. However, that doesn’t mean you have to accept discomfort. With Interkal’s options for benches, comfort is already built in. Using intuitive engineering and design, benches don’t have to be a downside when guests come to your venue. They can keep your spectators just as comfortable when they take a seat at your event.
